Abstracts (2020 - ongoing)
The camera lies in truthful ways. I aim for clarity, but the lens conspires—a shadow fractures into teeth, a reflection warps a face into a ghost. These accidents become collaborators. In the darkroom, I lean into their dissonance: a blur that suggests motion, a smear that mimics breath. Abstraction, for me, isn’t a choice. It’s the world whispering, “Look again.”
